Racing With My Husband and Making Friends With Crows

I must confess… for more than a month now.. I’ve been trying to befriend with crows. They are amazingly smart and they can recognize a person by face. But the most interesting part is that they can remember you if you do something bad to them or because you do something good to them. My plan is to feed them – so I want to get on their good side ;D There are many species for crows and these are those who I meet everyday on my way to work:

And here are two videos from today’s fun with my husband in Mežaparks:

Later we went to eat some not so healthy food and we ordered a takeaway and we ate it at Kaspar’s office. I had never been to his office before. It was nice. And we also played ping pong a bit.. When I was starting to get good at it… I realized that I was tired ;D So then we went home. 🙂

And here I wanted to show you how Haley ravaged the blanket today… she also fell down from the bed.. Take a look! 🙂

Haley & Sunny

Little KittensSo these are our little girls – Haley & Sunny. They are 2 months and 2 weeks old.
Haley is a little bit shy but she is the one who was purring for the first time. Sunny is more social and she is also more active. But the important thing is that they like each other and they play together. We are hoping that they will share their litter box as well. 🙂

So All New Things

Few weeks back I bought an epilator:

Kaspars recorded a video where I try it for the first time. That was funny! ;D But as I was in my underpants I am not comfortable with publishing it anywhere ;D But I think the thought of me laughing and little bit screaming is enough for you all. ;DDDDDD

And I am Still…

And I bought these (pink quartz; tiger’s eye; olivine; kyanite and that yellowish is citrine) :

And Feja (Fairy in English) was very funny one day xDDD
Aghhh….These small moments in life when you can laugh…:

Do not piss her off!!!!!!!!!

And a month ago I put my things in order.. How do you like this? 🙂

People.. please help me to improve my English.. What do I call this furniture?        O.o    Dresser? Wardrobe? Cupboard? … ?

My I-dont-know-how-to-call-it furniture.

These are my mom’s parents but they are dead : ( They built the house I visit often and it is the one I was talking about when wrote a post Little Heaven )

Tatjana Rostoka (My Grandmother)

Linards Rostoks (My grandfather)

Linards had 2 brothers (Haralds and Edgars) and they lived in USA, Iowa. Edgars has 2 children – Liga Rostoks and Lauris Rostoks. They are still alive of course and I managed to contact Lauris. We talked a little bit. I really hope that one day I can go to USA and meet them in person. 🙂 Our closest relative for both of us is my greatgrandfather and his grandfather Ernests Rostoks. 🙂 And btw.. I am making a family tree. Still in progress 🙂

This is my best friends (Madara) Blog.. She is writing in Latvian, but you can see her cat in one of the photos. The cat is called Temida and she is quite young. 🙂

I am ending this post and I will write another one 🙂

A Mini Post

I have a free time before I go to teach English for 3 hours.

It’s 10:08 a.m. and this is me :

Good morning!

So I’d like to explain to you how/where me and my family live. I live in Riga as you know, my sister moved to Daudzese (Never heard that one before, but it’s in Latvia) to live with her boyfriend. And my parents live in my mother’s parents’ house where Indra (sister) used to live. So the apartment now is rented by a young couple. My cat Feja lives in a house now and she has to get used to it and also get used to the dog Argo.

My sister is trying to get her things to Daudzese but she is doing that sooo slowly… I mean she just can’t find time to do it.. and my mom is angry that she can’t really tidy up and order things because of her belongings. But the best thing is it that the day before yesterday she decided to left a lot of clothes and well there are good ones too so now I’ll have few new clothes ^^

My cat just caught a mouse! It seems so cruel because cats don’t simply kill them and eat them. They hurt them then play with them and then MAYBE eat them! Well at least she has something to do and doesn’t feel bored.
